Some of our favorite artists dropped a slew of new ankle tattoos this month. As usual, it’s mainly floral-themed works, but there are a few animals and other creative designs that are equally divine.
During the ’80s and ’90s, ankle tattoos were about as common as 11 oz bottles of Aqua Net. Everyone wanted one. Got one. And eventually regretted getting one. But the cliche that was so utterly dismissed just a few N’Sync albums ago has made a come back in a big and beautiful way. With the level of detail that artists are able to achieve today, those rudimentary rose tattoos have been replaced with stunning, detail-driven works of floral majesty that can’t help but be appreciated by even the most skeptic of observers.
Today we’ll take a look at some of the hottest and most intriguing ankle tattoos created by artists from all over the world. We hope you enjoy this article as much as we enjoyed putting it together.
