Gus had to be transported from Texas to New York to be rescued.

He was everything to his family and had all the support he needed. Even after he was adopted, he had professionals from the association and a home nurse who made sure he was tucked into bed every night. Unfortunately, Gus’ ᴛι̇ɱe was cut short and he passed away at the age of 12, leaving a lasting impression on those who were fortunate enough to know his heroic story.
It’s tough to say goodbye to your blue blanket since it has been a nightly routine. I regret not spending more ᴛι̇ɱe with you, especially when your health declined so quickly. Despite that, you taught me how to be selfless, and I respected your decision when you said it was ᴛι̇ɱe to go. The furry nurse wrote, “I hope you’re enjoying a peaceful nap in the sun now, Gus.”
