American photographer, Doug Perrine, captured these very human moments of a whale belonging to the family of pseudo-tiger fish (Pseudorca crassidens) in the waters off Kona, in the Pacific Ocean.
The reason they are so named is because this species has a similar appearance to the orcas. Like orcas, orca whales attack and kill other whales.

Unfortunately, the number of this species around the Hawaiian area is in serious decline.
Their numbers decreased from 400 in 1989 to about 150 today.
This fish attacks and eats other marine mammals, including other whales.
An adult orca whale can be up to 6 meters long, weigh 2 tons and have a lifespan of about 60 years.
