Checking in on President Joseph Biden’s Beloved Dogs after Leaving the White House

Champ, the Biden family‘s original Gerɱaп Shepherd, is a 13–year–old veteran of the White House. He has been living with the Bidens since 2008, when Biden was Vice President.

The Bidens‘ two Gerɱaп Shepherds are part of a long tradition of presidential pets. Major and Champ join a long line of presidential dogs, from George Washington‘s foxhounds to George W. Bush‘s Scottish terriers.

The Biden family is well aware of the important role that their two Gerɱaп Shepherds will play in the White House. Major and Champ will serve as companions and confidants to the president and his family during this trying ᴛι̇ɱe.

As part of the White House tradition, the Biden family has already released a few pictures of their two Gerɱaп Shepherds. It’s clear that Major and Champ are already settling in well to their new home.
