A tiny, chubby little bird with a brilliantly bright red throat and patch on his chest, one that shines like a beacon and burns like a flame.
MEET THE FIRE-BREASTED FLOWERPECKER
The fire-breasted flowerpecker (Dicaeum ignipectus), is a species of bird in the Dicaeidae family. One of the smallest members of the flowerpecker family is a small bird with a dark bill. The male has glossy blue-black upper parts, while his belly is a yellowish color with a short black stripe running down from his chest. His breast is covered by a bright red patch, almost fiery red in color.
The female is dark olive on her upperparts and more of a buff color below.

Fire-breasted flowerpeckers are found living along the sub-Himalaya region.
Living in countries like India, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, down into Southeast Asia, Indonesia, Laos, Thailand Vietnam, Taiwan, Malaysia, into the Philippines.
These birds are usually found living high up in the mountains, above 1000 meters, however in China, they may be found at lower altitudes during winter.
