The female elephant calf, which is yet to be named, looked unsteady on her feet as she is still learning to walk tall alongside her huge parent.
The cute ѕtᴜmЬɩe was spotted at Schönbrunn Zoo in Vienna, Austria where the elephant was born just hours before.

The mother elephant, named Numbi, had given birth to the calf just hours before.l.i.a.
Zoo Director Dagmar Schratter said: ‘It is a girl and all seems to be well. For elephant mum Numbi it is her third offspring.’
Zoo staff kept watch through Friday night and into Saturday morning for the pending elephant birth.
The calf had been born just hours earlier to mother Numbi, who is originally from Kruger National Park, South Africa. The baby weighs a healthy 90kg and stands at three-foot tall.l.i.a.

The calf was born in the early hours of Saturday, measuring three feet in height and a health 198 lbs (90kg).
Schratter said: ‘The little elephant keeps trying to keep up with her mother and is walking close to her.
‘The baby elephant is not yet on show to visitors as Numbi and her baby first have to ɡet used to the new situation.’
Twenty-year-old Numbi саme to Vienna in 2009 from Kruger National Park, South Africa with her firstborn Kibo and in 2010 her second calf Tulubu was born.

The elephant was part of a breeding programme and was bred using sperm from a wіɩd elephant in the Phinda Reserve in South Africa.
