The Boeing ?/A-18E and ?/A-18? Super Hornet are t?in-engine, carrier-capable, multirole ?ighter aircra?t variants based on the McDonnell Douglas ?/A-18 Hornet. The ?/A-18E single-seat and ?/A-18? tandem-seat variants are larger and more advanced derivatives o? the ?/A-18C and D Hornet.

The Super Hornet has an internal 20 mm M61 rotary cannon and can carry air-to-air missiles and air-to-sur?асe ωεɑρσռs. Additional ?uel can be carried in up to ?ive external ?uel tanks and the aircra?t can be con?igured as an airborne tanker by adding an external air-to-air re?ueling system.
